My name is Leah Preble Holmes, and I am a lampwork bead artist and silversmith here in Mississippi. Morpheus is purely a product of my imagination and girlish fantasies of what fun and beautiful jewelry could be if we but lived in a world without limits. What I love most about her is that she is alive, constantly changing and challenging me to refine her design even more. Like a flower whose petals open slowly over time, she refuses to reveal easily and quickly her full potential. That is something reserved for the patient unfolding of her engineering, an artistic journey of glass and metal that I feel so amazed to be a part of.
